My home is slowly but surely filiing up with my art and soon I'm going to add the art of others to complete my PUG PALACE.  tee hee hee..................Yep a PUG PALACE.  Anyway, I can only work on my pieces after I juggle my career, my home domestic duties, and being soccer mom.  And here are pieces I took over the finish line yesterday:

WHEN LILLY VISITS

I love when Lilly comes by and visits.  She came by this morning with her cup of Star Bucks coffee and sat for awhile to tell me about her Friday.  And she told me about the kiddies.  I just love when Lilly Visits...............and so do the pets.

CELEBRATING OUR HERITAGE

March is Chamorro month and we got into the spirit of it all by wearing a flower in thy hair, a lei or island print.  Here we are "Proud to be Chamorro" or "Proud of the Chamorro culture"

It was indeed a very hectic week.  Meeting after meeting; reports and reports on reports.  After a day of all that I was just too pooped to do anything.  But I did manage to work on the
 "WHAT COULD IT BE"
creation I started:

I am so eager to finish it.
But I must rest and I so look forward to the weekend.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

WHAT COULD IT BE?

I'm working on another antique inspired pug and after stuffing its body I'm just wondering WHAT COULD IT BE?

Stay tuned and I'll share its creation.

WHAT COULD IT BE?
Well this piece I already shared but check out how I reused the petals of silk flowers.  There was just too much red going on in this little rascal.

A little rose pug nose.

PEEK-A-BOO

SUNDAY GROOMING

For about a month now my yard has not been properly groomed because our yard groomer stopped his services.  My sons would attempt to clean the yard but we had several weekends of continuous rain.  I finally pleaded with the guys to clean the yard and clean they did.

OMG A WALKING BUSH

WORK WORK.

 PUG EARS SITUATED.  LOOKING GOOD

 PAINTED THE PUG SNOUTS

And then I stopped working.
I stopped working because I had tuned into /blog and learned of Emmit's passing.  I was devastated.  I had to pull myself together to comment so Melissa and Fred will know that Emmit touched my life all the way over here in Guam.  I loved reading about him and seeing him model the sweaters.

Emmit - thank you.  Life is an Art.  Blessings to you my friend and PUG HUGS.

FRIDAY-NESS

Alas Friday is here and busy busy busy was the mode at work.  We launched another Lexus model - the LEXUS CT200H.  Very sporty, compact, luxurious car.  Here I am with my colleagues:

LEXUS CT200h

I received a comment on my post yesterday from one of my ebay customers.  She owns 5 pieces that I made in the past.  It was wonderful to hear from her.

Pug happiness is finishing pieces like the other doll of the doll from yesterday's blog.  What a mighty fine pair of PUG-LIONS don't you agree?

Check out this little guy made from a pair of slacks that went into the PUG IT PILE:

The YING and YANG of it all went into this pair of pillows:

CHESTER IS DONE.  I shared CHESTER in the making a couple of weeks ago.  Isn't Chester cute?

The embelishment on this SIT PUG SIT piece came from Korea.  My husband picked up the doo-dads while he was stationed there.  This is a piece I will keep for myself.

And I finally finished a set of antique inspired pug dolls I entitled BUBLINTON

Happy Friday my Blog Buddies.  Until next time I share this pic of MA-kytah in her new comfty bed.

The Day of Thursday

It is the day of Thursday turning to evening as this 24th day of February comes to an end in Guam.  What PUGness have I done all week?  I attempt to do a little at a time on the pieces I have in production.  Sew a snout here, cut a pattern there; paint on a face, bead, stuff, snip.  Eventually there is pug creation and an end pug.

ta-ta-ta dahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:
PUG-LION WITH DESIGNER EYES

Another Pot Belly Pug

Sit Pug Sit made from a skirt that landed in the PUG IT PILE

In the assembly line are antique inspired pugs that I need to name; more Sit Pug Sit pieces; and I'm drawing out some flying pug angels.  Can't wait to start on those.

HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY

WE DON'T OBSERVE PRESIDENT'S DAY AT WORK, I GUESS BECAUSE WE ON GUAM CAN'T VOTE FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.  IT DIDN'T STOP US FROM DOING A HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY ACTIVITY FOR OUR ATKINS KROLL PRESIDENT DAN CAMACHO.

We had Secret Service Agents dressed in black escort him into the building.

I had to meet him at the entrance

We had a certificate and greeting cards presented by the staff:

And even a patriotic Lei

Then there was photo ops with the president.  This is my team:

HAD A WONDERFUL LUNCH MEETING AT THE PACIFIC ISLAND'S CLUB - Le BISTRO RESTAURANT.  THE VIEW OF TUMON BAY WAS BEAUTIFUL.

THEN IT WAS BACK TO WORK.......TRAFFIC TO GET HOME............DINNER..........A LITTLE BIT OF HOUSEWORK.............PHONE CHAT WITH MY HUBBY IN AFGHAN...........WALK THE DOGS..........FEED THE DOGS

AND ABOUT THE ONLY PUG DOLL I FINISHED TODAY WAS THIS LITTLE GUY I CALL
THE POT BELLY PUG

UNTIL THE NEXT TIME I GET INTO BLOGGING - I LEAVE YOU THE FINE DETAILS OF THE POT BELLY PUG'S PAWS.
