African King et al

Goodness.  I have been very occupied with nursing my 15 year old who came down with strep throat.  He is feeling much better after taking the medication to battle this illness.  I also need to take MA-kytah to the vet for her booster shot and to have a follow up done on her ears.  But................in between nursing and vet runs I do squeeze in my pug art.

Lookey here - an African King pug made from a recycled throw pillow.  I share its creation with you:

I finished one of my favorite designs called the "SEE HEAR SPEAK NO EVIL" pug set.  I present this set in the making.

I posted this pic earlier this week.  The dolls got their legs, face painted and beads sewn on.

I detail my pugs with dimensional fabric paint.  Details include wrinkles and claws.

Three sets of pug eyes are painted on

And here I present my No Evil Pug Set.

The set is available HERE at my Etsy Shop.

Until next time.  PUG HUGS to all..

Timing Tuesday

(sighing) Well it's been one whole day since Ed left back to Afghanistan and it's back to solo parenting for me.  It sure was wonderful having him here to help me get our kids to where they needed to go.  He fixed stuff around the house.  It was great to walk places and hold hands.

So now that my partner is absent it's all about timing and scheduling and making sure we get back into the swing of things around here.

First things first.  Preparing the boxes to ship out the Pug Dolls that sold in my Etsy Shop.

Oh!!! I must share a pic of this beautiful teak chest I bought this past weekend.  It is not only a teak chest that can serve as a bench..........

or a display for my pieces from PugNotes

It is actually an ice chest
But for me - this piece serves as storage for my fabric.

Whoo HOO - scattered pieces of a pug.  This is going to be a nice piece.  I can feel it.

Check out MA-kytah with Kin.  She just needs to know what's going on at the table.  This pic was taken during our Friday night board games with the teens.

Ohhh what fun.  Another pug doll sold in my Etsy shop:
Chester Piece is traveling to Vermont

Well, as my Tuesday is getting started I must move on with it.  Until then my Blog Buddies I throw out Pug Hugs to all and leave you with this pic of me and a Mahi Mahi that my brother caught out in the seas around Guam on board the Linda Jane:

Etsy Shop - Up and Running

FINALLY!!!!  I got my Etsy Shop up and Running and posted practically all day yesterday.  HOORAY!!  My goal was to go full force by mid April and I was like two days late.  Oh well.  Hubby came home from Afghanistan for his R&R and we had a wonderful two weeks together.  He left today and I am sad but at the same time I am proud of him and all that he is doing for our country

My  past two weeks were extremely busy.  In that time I lost my pal MaX.  He had jumped onto his favorite chair and passed away.  I was so heartbroken.  I tried to write about it here in Blog Land, but I just couldn't do it.  I am stronger now and at peace that he touched my life with fun, pug hugs, and companionship.  He is with Emitt now all over that colorful rainbow.

I am so pleased that these pieces sold at my Etsy Shop:

Ying Yang Pug Pillow going to Oklahoma

Kibibble Pug heading to New York

Chester Pug going to Oklahoma

Pug-Lion traveling to Colorado

I am also pleased that these two pieces sold on ebay:
Kibibble traveling to Illinois

The Bausteny Set went to the United Kingdom

I truly enjoyed making each and every pug piece.

I'm about finished with a new set of Hear, See Speak no evil pugs.  Here is a peek:

And these little balls of pug heads are turning into something.  I'll share more as they become a being.

Until next time my Blog Buddies.  I leave you with this pic of me and MA-kytah relaxing.

Pug Hugs to all.
