THE BAUSTENY SET

I challenged myself to create, assemble and embellish a 4-piece antique inspired pug set.  Wow Wow Weee - it took me almost three weeks to complete and I graciously present to you

THE BAUSTENY SET

I have the set listed on ebay.  Check it out here:

My Etsy store is going to be listing pieces in mid-April.  I think I just about filled up my home with pugs and I am ready to start selling.  I'm so excited.

Here is what I have in the making:

A row of "Sit Pug Sit" pieces next to MA-kytah

This is a NESTING DOLL inspired piece.  I'll tag it with a model name soon after I see how its puggy face turns out.

Here is another antique inspired set.

"KOOKABURRA" in another print.  I love this pattern.

Isn't this one cute?  It's a flying pug.  Designer model name forthcoming.

That's it for now my Blog Buddies.  Got to get to work because I have a target date to meet to open my ETSY store.

PUGS PUGS AND MORE PUGS

I looked at the last time I posted and several weeks of full schedules prevented me from getting to my computer to blog.  Much has happened between then and now.  The biggest was on March 11th when the earthquake and tsunami hit our neighbor Japan.  Guam went into a tsunami watch at about 4:30 that afternoon and then two hours later we went into the warning stage.  I am thankful that we were spared but my heart and prayers go out to the people of Japan.  They shall overcome this terrible disaster.

I was in a "HUG-A-PUG" mood today"

HUGGING MA-KYTAH

Then worked on pugs

HUGGING SHADY

THEN I WORKED ON PUGS

HUGGING MAX

THEN I WORKED ON PUGS

The green pug pups are part of a 4 piece set.  It is looking good but labor intensive.  But oh what fun.'

Until next time blog buddies.........PUG HUGS TO ALL

I love when Lilly comes by and visits.  She came by this morning with her cup of Star Bucks coffee and sat for awhile to tell me about her Friday.  And she told me about the kiddies.  I just love when Lilly Visits...............and so do the pets.

CELEBRATING OUR HERITAGE

March is Chamorro month and we got into the spirit of it all by wearing a flower in thy hair, a lei or island print.  Here we are "Proud to be Chamorro" or "Proud of the Chamorro culture"

It was indeed a very hectic week.  Meeting after meeting; reports and reports on reports.  After a day of all that I was just too pooped to do anything.  But I did manage to work on the
 "WHAT COULD IT BE"
creation I started:

I am so eager to finish it.
But I must rest and I so look forward to the weekend.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

WHAT COULD IT BE?

I'm working on another antique inspired pug and after stuffing its body I'm just wondering WHAT COULD IT BE?

Stay tuned and I'll share its creation.

WHAT COULD IT BE?
Well this piece I already shared but check out how I reused the petals of silk flowers.  There was just too much red going on in this little rascal.

A little rose pug nose.

PEEK-A-BOO

THE PUGS ARE DONE.  THIS IS ANOTHER RENDITION OF MY 3D PUG PILLOWS.  THIS DESIGN IS CALLED
KOOKABURRA

Until next time my Blog Buddies.  Massive Pug Hugs to all.
