December Contest

I am so delighted that reconnecting with my love for crocheting has been indeed soothing.  Many years ago I crocheted afghans and doilies.  Then I just quit doing it because of other aspects of my life.

I must say that when I was designing the "CroPug" design I certainly made many attempts to perfect it.  And.......perfect the pieces I did.

I have two available in my Etsy shop.  Take a browse in the Paddywak Pugs shop by clicking on the link to the right.

I have not come up with a name for the design I am working on now.  This piece started out when I was looking at a bottle of Palmolive dish soap.

And I crocheted and crocheted and crocheted just to get the bottled covered.
I had so much fun painting its snout.  So much character and expression came out of that enoyment.

Here is how it is looking now.

Let's have a contest.
For all pug lovers in the world, I present this piece I just completed.

Leave a comment and suggest a name for this CroPug.  All comments will be entered into a drawing on December 24th.  The name drawn will win this little CroPug.

Here are more pics for you to enjoy:

PUG HUGS to ALL.

  6. Hi Karen! Okay...maybe I misread...if we are naming the cinnamon cropug. I would name him "Cinnamon Buns Cropug"...as he looks so cute and my babies are called the "cinnamon butts" by some furiends over in England. The Dunce Pug was for your palmolive pug with the cute hat. :) She is still lookin' mischevious!! :)

  12. Ahhh! I want him in my collection!! haha. I would name him Ellard.. It means noble and strong, and I think he definitely looks like a noble, little warrior pug. One that I want to hug! :) I also think the name sounds as cute as this guy looks!

  13. I absolutely love your work. Makes me wish I paid more attention when my late grandmother tried teaching me to crochet as a child. If I had to pick a name for your beautiful creation,I would name it Crochetta!
